Dr. Robert Marzano brings over 50 years of experience in education research, professional development, and curriculum design. He is a leading researcher and author of over 30 books, including The New Art and Science of Teaching, renowned for transforming research into practical instructional strategies used worldwide by educators. As a sought-after international speaker and trainer, Dr. Marzano has expertise across numerous areas like standards-based assessment, evaluation, and school leadership.
He received his B.A. in English at Iona University in New Rochelle, NY. Robert attended Seattle University and graduated with a Masters in Reading and Language Arts. From there, he attended the University of Washington and received his doctorate in curriculum and instruction.
Dr. Marzano has spent years doing applied research for the U.S. Department of Education and collecting data to analyze pressing issues in the world of standards-based assessment for Education. This research has been ongoing and evolving to meet the changing needs of administrators, teachers, and students today.
